Disposal Methods + Tips

Recycled Boxes

  • Instructions: Bakery & boutique boxes can be recycled. Flatten the boxes and ensure they are clean and free of tape, stickers, windows, or possible food residue before placing them in the recycling bin.

Recycled Kraft Paper + Mailers

  • Disposal Method: Recycling
  • Instructions: Kraft paper can be recycled. Ensure it is clean and free of tape or stickers before placing it in the recycling bin.

Plant-Based Clear Bags + Mailers

Disposal Method: Industrial Composting

Instructions: These bags require a commercial composting facility. Place them in the compost bin if your local service offers it, or dispose of them in the trash if composting is unavailable.

Recycled Tissue Paper

  • Disposal Method: Recycling or Composting
  • Instructions: Tissue paper can be recycled if clean and free of contaminants. If soiled or made from compostable materials, it can be added to your compost pile.

Recycled + Recyclable Tags

  • Instructions: Tags made from recycled materials can typically be placed in your paper recycling bin. Remove any non-paper components, like plastic strings, before recycling.

Food Paper (Wax Paper)

Instructions: Unbleached, compostable wax paper can be composted at home or through an industrial composting service. If neither is available, dispose of it in the trash.
